March is on its way

Where did February go? Here it is only a couple of days until March. Turn around and June will be here.

I had great intentions of posting here every day...LOL...that has not happened. It was a good idea at one time.

The March menu has been posted. It looks yummy.

As for me, I hope that there is no more cold weather. I have had my fill. Enough is enough.

NALC Closed to kids on Monday, February 19th.

On President's Day, most kids are out of school and teachers love having a long weekend, but, not NALC.

NALC uses this day as a "Deep Cleaning" day for the STAFF. All staff members come to work that day and spend the time DEEP CLEANING their rooms and all parts of the classroom. This is a time to use cleaning products and such that we do not use around children. It does not pose a hazard to the kids, to use the cleaning products, but it is not safe to have cleaning supplies out when children are in the room.

The teachers and staff clean EVERY DAY, but this is a day dedicated to cleaning.

Valentine's Parties

Parents, Please, check with your child's teacher about possible needs for your child's Class Party. Most teachers put a sign-up sheet, up front, so that parents may select item(s) to send on that day.

The boys and girls love Valentine's Day and having fun with their friends.

*Check with your child's teacher about possible allergy issues.
