Today, I went to the Arctic Room and showed them how to make "Farmer's Cheese." The boys and girls, then, tasted the cheese. After this, I used some of the cheese and made Cottage Cheese. The boys and girls tasted the cheese. Finally, I added two flavors to some of the Farmer's Cheese and let the kids taste it.

The flavored cheeses were "Lime Cheese" and "BBQ Cheese."

Every child tasted the cheese and most of them liked it. One child said the BBQ Cheese tasted like eating BBQ Potato Chips. I agree.

I talked about making cheese and shared the "Little Miss Muffit" poem. That poem says that Miss Muffit was eating her Curds and Whey. (We assume it was Cottage Cheese, but we are not certain.)

I told the kids that I was going to end up with Curds and Whey. (The curds became the cheese and the whey was poured out. Some people use the whey to make bread, but that would have to be another day.)
